I did get one of the 3D flowers done, and even attached. I love it. It was my first time combining two techniques in the flower and I am pleased with the effect.
You can see by some of the pictures that it is quite three dimensional.
Here is my question to you? Do you have any quilted items still left to finish up before Christmas Day?

Yes, two ornaments. I hope to get them finished tomorrow and on their way to their new homes.
My quilted items are done. It's the real shopping that's been neglected. I'm trekking out tonight(I think I hate myself) to try to fix that.
ummm, YES!!! I agreed to make some runners for hubby's family - what was I thinking??
I still have 2 big projects to finish. Yikes!!!
That's beautiful. Do you track how much time you spend on your quilts?
Yes--I have 3 more neck-ties to make for my nephews, an apron for my niece, and 3 purses that are commissioned work for someone. I haven't even purchased my supplies for them yet either--good thing I work well under pressure!
Yes. About 7 things. I don't think I'm going to make it! I really love these flowers you do and want to try them. But I really wish I could sit with you and do them.
Love your three dimensional blooms! I still have to put crystals on my tablerunner for my sis, and then sandwich and quilt it....she said she's good with getting a new year's present!! LOL
