I am making good progress in my latest art quilt. All the blocks are done. I have to spend quite a bit of time doing borders as they are not the traditional strip border, rather, strip, block, strip, block and so on.
I also had a brainwave for my other art quilt over the weekend while sorting out some toys and came across some plastic kids jewellery. You know they are going to end up on that quilt!

I love those blocks! From the way you have them laid out, are you contemplating sashing between them, or not? Can't wait to see what you do with the kids' jewelry - sounds like adding more fun to an already fun set of blocks!
(Mumbling....love those colors Jackie used....wonder if I have some like that in my stash.....) Heehee!
Those look wonderful. I will be watching to see the finish on this for sure.

love the vivid colors on these blocks!
I like the freeform style of the blocks. Combined with the fabric you chose, they are just so interesting and colorful to look at.
Beautiful! I love your idea of incorporating your toybox finds into a quilt! Embellishments are everywhere....sometimes I hate to get rid of things! :)
What neat blocks and can't wait to see what embellishments you use now. Thanks for sharing.
