Craftsy Quilt Blog

I have had a busy July!

Two of my quilt posts are up on Craftsy. You have to check them out, they are both tutorials!

The first is working with youth of any age introducing them to quilting. It is a tutorial on getting kids to quilt in a very easy and fun manner!

Picture drawn onto fabric with crayon.

Next up was their Christmas in July theme where I did a tutorial on making Santa a placemat.

Santa's placemat with milk and cookies

Santa needs something fun for you to put his cookies and milk on. What is better than a placemat with Christmas lights all over it?

Our winners for the last 2 blog hops were Crafty Violet for Sarah Vee's pattern and Kimberly from Stash Bee for the digital copy of 'Fun Size Quilts' by Martingale.

Wow, I won a pattern. Thank you.
What info do you need from me?

Our quilt guild, The Chatham-Kent Quilt Guild, has had a children's quilting day for two years now - both boys and girls and either a parent or grandparent comes with them as helpers in case they get stuck. They all did great and some really got hooked on quilting. Gotta start them young!
