I have finished a cute fast little
project for Pellon. I dyed batting with Kool Aid! It is easy and turned out really cute. Check out the tutorial
here.
I also got a little carried away with the dyed batting....
This is a cute little pouch, used my Baby GO! for the circles. A tutorial will be available soon!
A second brooch, GO! again at work.
Another pouch.
What else could you do with dyed batting?

Some great ideas! I love the idea of dyeing wadding and a great use of scraps - no kool aid in the UK though so I'd have to use procion??
I love these!!!!! Those are fabulous flowers! Ever sine I did my sister's wedding flowers, I love dimensional flowers. (just not making a wedding's worth!)
Now THIS is my kind of crafting! Oh yes, I see KoolAid in the plans for my toddlers this week :)
gill - They don't sell Kool Aid in the UK? I can't even imagine that! (then again, I had never heard of Marmite until I was almost 30!)
interesting concept - I would think that you could use the dyed batting for most things that you would use felt for -- by the way, there used to be a product called Freshie which was a competitor to koolaid -- was in Canada, maybe in the UK?
Personally, I think we need to send gill a care package of kool aid flavors....didn't know they were so deprived in the UK. LOL
Love your flowers, Jackie - they are so cute! Did you sew or glue a pin on the reverse? I love these!
Those are so prett! Great idea. :)
