Then you go to Spoonflower and download your little jpeg. At this point you can flip or repeat it till you get a pattern you like and presto, you have created fabric. You decide if you want to order a FQ, or yardage. I decided on a yard of each.
Here are my 3 new pieces of fabric. I feel like a fabric designer!
The first one, is not the best, that is my fault. When I cropped it, I didn't notice a shadow, so there is some darkness running through it.
Okay, I should have ironed it, but was sooo excited to show you!
This second one, you can actually see my circular stitches right in the fabric... so cool.
I could definitely spend hours and hours creating new fabric from bits and pieces of my art quilts.
Which one is your favourite? I have no idea what I am going to use them for, I certainly don't want to cut them up! #2 could be a background fabric I think. But my favourite is definitely the third one.
While waiting for my order from Spoonflower to arrive, I was working on my latest art quilt.
I have been making leaves like crazy. Look at the pile of them now.
Thanks for all the super ideas for wearable art in my last post. I am definitely thinking! I have two favourites, but won't reveal them just yet.
Don't forget to enter my giveaway. Some of you are leaving the most amazing baking ideas... I may be asking for recipes! I wonder if we can do some kind of chocolate recipe contest with FQ's as a prize? Any ideas gang?

I think #2 is my fave! I never thought of taking one of my own quilts as a starting point for Spoonflower! I feel another obsession coming on - geez! Thanks Jackie!
You are so stinkin' talented! I also love fabric #3, and am trying to decide if I want to design fabric on Spoonflower, or take the easy route and buy pre-designed fabric! :)
I like the blue one best!
That. Is. Awesome! I love your fabrics. I need to try Spoonflower one of these days!
Your leaves look like sherbet! Luscious!

I vote for the second piece - love it!!
Hi Jackie, what fun a new career for you. I love #3 but they are all great. I wish I had your creativity but I certainly have the ability to love and do things with other peoples beautiful fabric. Hugs and Blessings Sandra

It is pretty ideal for everyone! Your site is a pretty used by me personally. I’m looking forward for more of your brilliance.
Love all three fabrics, but #1 has my name on it{grin} I would love a chocolate recipe contest because I have 2 that I could share! Although right now my next thing to bake is peach cobbler!
