I just wanted you to know that the fabric I won from your giveaway was used to make a beautiful quilt that will be donated to a lady who has MS and is in a nursing facility. She wanted a quilt with birds and crosses, so several ladies from our group stitched the squares and our quilter finished it into a beautiful quilt.
Here is a picture of the quilt they made:
They are a fantastic generous group of ladies, please go and check out their blog World of Charity Stitching. It is so great to see where my fabric ends up, and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Peggy!
I am almost finished a really big project for Pellon. Here is a sneak peek:
Trust me when I tell you not to even try and guess. I will tell you by the end of February though.
Lastly, here is my completely finished Rhythm and Blues
It is all my own hand dyed fabric except for the flowers. I stamped the background as well. The little circles on the right hand side are fabric covered buttons using the same fabric in the quilt. The flowers are of course 3D. Here is a side shot, so you can see how much they protrude from the quilt.
I have some more super fab news, but will share in my next post=)
Thanks for stopping by, I do appreciate all of you that take the time to read it!

I am anxiously awaiting your pellon project. Good thing February is almost over. :)
I can't stand the suspense!!! This is going to keep me awake tonight. LOL
I'm so glad you showed the finished R&B quilt. It's wonderful! I love the picture that shows the quilting pattern, too. :)
very nice work, lady! Can't wait to see the finished Pellon project (and hear the good news!). Have a great week!
Love the rythm and blues! And your fabric is bright and exciting.
What could that pelon project be?
Looking forward to the next great outcome!
you and I both love sharing just peeks! Congrats on the fabric being used for such a wonderful cause!
The Rhythm and Blues is just gorgeous!!!!
I can't wait to hear your news! That is so sweet that the gal sent you that photo of the finished quilt. How nice to have that follow up. You know I love Rhythm and Blues!
Beautiful!
Your R & B quilt is great. I love the colours..
the photo of the quilt straight on definately hides the dimensionality. I love the way the 'quilted leaves'? curl around! And I, for just an instant did try to guess what that project is, until I read the line that says not to try -- so my patience gene has kicked in and I will try to wait for the 'announcement'.
