Leaf Bowl for CQA/ACC

As I have mentioned before the Canadian Quilters' Association national quilt show is in London Ontario this year in May.  For the first time, I plan to go.   One of the things they do is ask guilds across Canada to make something for all the delegates attending.  In past years, it has been table toppers.  This year it is a leaf bowl.   It was fast and easy to do.  I made it by fusing material to both sides of timtex.   Next I cut out the pattern and zigzagged all the way around.  Last I sewed up the slits on all four sides to give it the bowl appearance.

Awesome! I think it is going to be so cool to see these leaves from right across the country done in so many wonderful colours.
Thanks for getting involved with this project. I DO hope everyone making them is enjoying doing so.
