I do actually have other things I am working on to blog about, but this just came in the mail and I was sooo excited to show you. I have a quilt in a book! A real live quilt book! It is based on using 6 fat quarters.
My 3D flower wallhanging was selected to be featured. They asked that it be in fall colours, which is why you see no pink in it=)
When I sent in the pattern, I put in lots of pictures instead of sketches, as I can't draw at all. Imagine my surprise when I opened the book to see they used all my pictures!
The other projects in the book are amazing. I am off to my studio to try and quilt and get the silly grin off my face.

ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful Jackie. I am so happy for you. I don't draw diagrams very well, so I usually do them on the computer using a graphics program. (sometimes a program as easy as "Paint" in Windows) I feel that I get a better diagram that way. I always forget the process pictures.
