A Check Off The Bucket List

If you have read my blog for even a day, you would know that I really want to get published in 'Quilting Arts' magazine and I really want a quilt to get accepted into Houston.
Well, guess what?  
I GOT PUBLISHED IN 'QUILTING ARTS' MAGAZINE!!!

They had a 'Map It Out' challenge and selected 10 winners to appear in the next edition of their magazine.   I mailed my little quilt off and then waited...and waited....and waited.   Finally it arrived and I was over the moon excited!

Here it is on page 81, in all it's little glory=)


Just to top my day right off, I get to work with 'Madhuri' from The Quilted Fish for a special little project.  It is so much fun.   I really could do my whole house in it, including my wardrobe.  Really!

Look at the selvage, how cute is that?

    Wow! That is wonderful and amazing. Way to go. Your map quilt is great. I'll look closer at it when I pick up my copy of QAM. I love that mag. And I'm a little envious that you can say you've been published in there! Very proud of you.

    right on! It's damn tough getting in there. I sent in 2 challenge pieces one time (postcards) and they published the ugly one!! lol so... I didn't really brag about it. lol
