Wearable Art


I may have mentioned once or twice that I am in love with Madhuri, The Quilted Fish's new fabric line coming out this May.

I made another wall hanging.   I can't show that yet either.  But I did have some tiny scraps and some earring bases so I decided to make some wearable art.


Are you saying "Wow that is amazing!"   Or "Oh boy, how do I leave a comment for Jackie telling her she has finally lost her marbles?"




I probably would have had 40 more pairs but I ran out of fusing and earring stuff.   I know some of you are very thankful for that fact.   I did keep the earrings pretty small though.  At one point I was contemplating having a 3" earring on each ear to capture the full effect of the pattern on the fabric.   

I am going to send Amanda a pair.   (She designed Madhuri)  Which pair do you think she would like best?  You can say #1, 2, 3, or 4.   And 'none' is not an option=)

    No, you aren't going nuts yet, those are really cute and for a fraction of the price I paid for a pair at a craftshow. What a great idea.

    Very creative and a good way to use up those tiny scraps. I like the first one the best myself.

    I'm waffling between 1 and 4 - Amanda likes to use flowers. Maybe 4 - they prompt more thought!

    I don't know Amanda but I am going to vote for two because I really love them . Neat idea for scraps, very modern looking.

    I'd say 2 too! but 4 is nice! then again 1 is matching...but there is 3...how about all 4 is that an option?
