Fabric Giveaway

To celebrate my opening of my etsy store, I am having a giveaway!

I have a cute charm pack of 'Hoo's in the Forest' by Riley Blake fabrics.   It is so sweet and so adorable.   I love charm packs.  It isn't too much fabric that it intimidates you or makes you think you should save it, but not so little that you can't do anything with it.  And it is all pre-cut perfectly.  That is definitely the best part!

    You know, I mostly buy FABRIC on etsy! Not much modern in our local shops....and it seems the prices are better online.

    My first Etsy purchase was holiday gifts...my second (and only other!) was of a box of fabric scraps. So many of them coordinated, I can't wait to have time to sit down and DO something with them!

    I just love the Reusable Butterfly Snack Sandwich Bag in your Etsy shop. How fabulous is that and that material is gorgeous. I do a lot of sewing and have a eye for beautiful materials. I've never made a quilt though. Mostly I sew blouses, baby blankets, dresses, shirts and such.

    Wow, you've got tons of comments already! But I will add my two cents' worth, although it may be too late. (What time Friday?)

    I'm also a new follower, so I have to tell you the back story... we met at a quilting meeting a couple of weeks ago, and you asked me if I was going to start quilting again. I was trying to resist, but then my Mom sent me the link to your blog, and in my usual obsessive fashion I read the whole thing! (I promise I will not stalk you.)

    So, that leads me to the answer to your first question... after reading your blog and getting pointed to TheIntrepidThread, I bought almost 8 yards of fabric from her! I can't wait until they arrive and I haul out my sewing machine again. All I've done with it in the past 6 or 7 years is curtains and duvet covers.

    I hadn't blogged about it yet, but you remind me that it's a good idea. I'll leave a followup comment once I have done that.

    Let's see, could I have possibly forgotten anything in this longest-ever comment? Oh yes! My favourite thing in your Etsy store is the pink hand-dyed fabric. I refused to wear or have anything else to do with pink for most of my life, but just in the past few years I have to say it really appeals to me. It's like I tried so hard to not be "girly" that I missed out on some things that I might actually have liked... and now I'm making up for lost time!
